Support Friends of JCC Budapest

Hungarian Jews once faced extinction. But thanks to the support of Jews like you, the Hungarian Jewish community is again flourishing and anticipates a promising future. JCC Budapest — Bálint Ház is the beating heart of this community.

Now is the moment to build upon our success. The JCC Budapest has the potential to strengthen not only Hungarian Jews, but to serve as a beacon for all Jewish people. To reach this larger community, we must invest in improving the JCC’s facilities and expanding its programming.

Amid rising global antisemitism, the JCC is a necessary place for Jews to embrace their identities. Our community is especially important for young Jews because it provides them with a vision and hope for a vibrant Jewish life that they can choose to adopt. Supporting the JCC ensures that there is a place in Budapest where Jewish people can embrace their Jewish heritage with the knowledge that they are part of a global Jewish community.

You have an opportunity to play a vital role in the story of Hungarian — and global — Jewish life. As the next generation of Hungarian Jews rediscovers their heritage, you can ensure they continue to have a thriving and supportive community to share it with.
