JCC Budapest by Numbers

According to a recent demographic study, 54% of Hungarian Jews see themselves as cultural Jews. This creates an incredible opportunity for the JCC to nurture a cultural Jewish revival in Budapest. Our numbers speak for themselves.

When we first became independent at the beginning of 2022, JCC Budapest compiled figures that demonstrate a dramatic and consistent increase in participation from previous years. This is a testament to the JCC’s popularity and the dedicated work of its staff and supporters. Through constant and dedicated programming, the JCC Budapest hopes to increase these numbers even more.
